About us. We were founded by an avid automotive enthusiast, and mailed our first catalog in the fall of 1990. Our founder was raised vehicleramp in Southern California and started the company in Vista, a small community just north of San Diego. The first catalog was just 16 pages. Provided you first use our cleaning products, hand application of polishes and waxes will provide excellent results. After you have applied your hand polishes, you may still notice some swirl marks and light scratches. Hand polishes do remove some scratches, but generally rely on fillers to hide surface imperfections. You may also notice, unless you are very careful, that your wax may not have been applied evenly. By contrast, our system will eliminate all of your swirl marks and most, if not all, of your light scratches. Machine polishing will take less time. Your wax will be more evenly applied, easier to remove, and last longer too. You''ll use less product as the polishing pads extend product coverage! Using our system, you will produce a finish that cannot be matched by hand.
